David LeCavalier, CCIM

David (Dave) LeCavalier, CCIM is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is a licensed broker in Illinois. His experience to commercial real estate is enhanced with both a CCIM and RPA Designation.

Previously served as Vice President of Van Vlissingen and Co. for twenty-one (21) years and oversaw two corporate park projects that were both award-winning Development of the Year recipients before forming Forefront Properties LLC in 2008.

With thirty-eight (38) years of experience and over $800M in transaction volume, as the Managing Broker for Forefront, Dave continues to serve the interest of building/land owners, tenants, and investor needs primarily in the suburbs of Chicago.

Dave is also the head of acquisitions and investments for ForeFront sponsored equity participation opportunities. Having more than sixteen (16) years of sponsorship experience and reputation of integrity, creative problem solving, and strong return performance has created a sustainable vehicle to continue its value-add investment platform. Kevin Cox, Principal

Kevin Cox, Principal, is a graduate of Illinois State University and a licensed salesperson in Illinois.

Excelled in a number of executive and operational capacities with over twenty (20) years of business and operations experience including ground up development in Mexico to the President of a manufacturing firm previously based in Lake County.  

Possesses the knowledge of overseeing real estate assets from a business owner's perspective and leverages this skill to providing ForeFront's clients with intelligent real estate decision making while balancing bottom line budgeting with operational flexibility. 

Joshua Lapins, Principal & Chief Operating Officer

Josh, Principal & COO, is a graduate of the University of Iowa, a licensed broker in the State of Illinois as well as a licensed general contractor.  

Before his thirteen years at ForeFront, Josh spent time with Transwestern and Portfolio Solutions Group.

Josh handles the day to day operations of the ForeFront Properties real estate portfolio as well as expanding brokerage services in both the landlord and tenant representation arena. Josh has expansive market knowledge with clients ranging from downtown office to suburban industrial and has completed over $200 million dollars in transactions in his career.  

Tommy Mantice, Associate

Tommy Mantice, Associate, is a graduate of Valparaiso University and a licensed salesperson in the State of Illinois.

 In his eighth (8th) year with the ForeFront team, Tommy is responsible for the management of several properties in the Illinois, Indiana and Southwest Florida. Tommy also provides brokerage services for office, industrial and retail owners/tenants along with Landlord Representation experience.

Nick Cox,

Digital Media, Marketing Strategy

Nick, Digital Media & Marketing Strategy Associate, is currently a senior at DePaul University studying Digital Media Science, Marketing and Public Relations. 

He heads the creation and management of ForeFront's digital marketing strategy, property marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
